God expects an awakened heart.
A heart that is awakened spiritually is a heart in which the Spirit of God flows through.
An awakened heart seeks to think with God’s head. In an awakened heart, heaven and earth belong to the same reality.
An awakened heart does not pray for a distant God, but to a God who is on its side.
An awakened heart does not see its life apart from God’s life.
An awakened heart lives its life in the theater of God’s glory.
An awakened heart proclaims the Word of God, has divine dreams for this earth, has visions of a God who is “gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love” and that does not send in disgrace (Joel 2:13 NRSV)
A spiritually awakened heart does not want revival for the other; rather, it desires it for itself.
